Bio: Dr. Appiagyei is a psychiatrist and co-founder of WOVEN Clinics, which focuses on behavioral health integration. His passion for mental healthcare began early, shaped by his experiences working at his parents’ primary care clinic on the South Side of Chicago. While attending medical school at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Appiagyei gained invaluable experience primarily working at the safety net hospital and serving as class president. His leadership continued during his tenure as Outpatient Chief Resident at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he focused on enhancing both patient and provider experiences. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Appiagyei was selected as an American Psychiatric Association Leadership Fellow during his residency, a role that strengthened his administrative and policy expertise with the goal of improving mental health care systems. Since graduating residency, he has continued academic work as an emergency department and consult liaison psychiatrist at a large academic health system in Chicago, Illinois as well as continuing to improve access and quality of mental hearth services through his practice WOVEN Clinics.

Bio: I completed triple board training and received initial board certification in Pediatrics, Adult Psychiatry, and Child Psychiatry. I maintain my psychiatry board certifications at this time. I have worked in integrated care for the past 6 years. I primarily have experience with CoCM/collaborative care models, and in the private practice setting as Behavioral Health medical director I have grown a collaborative care program to serve over 20 pediatric practices and hundreds of patients per month; in this role I also serve as the consultant psychiatrist for three practices. <br /> I also work part-time in a school based partial hospitalization program, requiring close collaboration with mental health staff and school staff and administrators. <br /> I also own an outpatient private practice and believe that my continued direct care experience informs and enhances my work in integrated care settings.

Bio: I am a board-certified psychiatrist and co-founder of WOVEN Clinics, a behavioral health integration practice dedicated to expanding access to mental health care through the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) and telepsychiatry. My path to integrated care began during my MD-MPH training at the University of Miami, where I was actively involved in population health efforts, advocacy, and program development for people who inject drugs. These experiences shaped my commitment to population health and scalable models of psychiatric care.<br /> <br /> I completed my psychiatry residency at Northwestern University. Today, I provide psychiatric consulting across multiple integrated care programs, partnering with primary care organizations, FQHCs, and hospital systems to strengthen behavioral health integration. My consulting emphasizes practical, outcomes-driven approaches supporting behavioral health care managers, primary care teams, and leadership to optimize BHI programs like CoCM and ensure sustainability.

Bio: I am a board certified Psychiatrist with extensive telepsychiatry experience. With a start of my new family, I am looking to move from PRN telepsych work into Collaborative Care. I am confident that this indeed is the future of psychiatry.

Bio: Experience providing consultation to primary care for 10+ years as a part of a hospital-based outpatient practice. Most recently working in an integrated setting in a clinic with both Family Medicine and Internal Medicine providers. Provide consultation, brief med management services, CoCM pilot re: depression, and preparing to provide e-consults in near future.
