Dr. Valeras brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for mentorship, ensuring that every participant gains a profound understanding of what it takes to be an exceptional leader in the healthcare field.

Andrew S. Valeras, DO, MPH, FAAFP, FACPM (he/him) is the Associate Program Director for the Dartmouth Health Leadership-Preventive Medicine Residency and a core faculty physician at NH Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency. His Preventive Medicine and Family Medicine residency training was at these sites respectively. He received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Philosophy from Boston College, Doctor of Osteopathy from Midwestern University, and his Masters of Public Health at The Dartmouth Institute. Inducted as an American Academy of Family Physicians Fellow in 2019 and American College of Preventive Medicine Fellow in 2022.

Dr. Valeras seeks to integrate behavioral health , quality improvement, and systems based thinking with the clinical practice and education of medical providers in integrated care teams.

Dr. Valeras served as President of the Board of Directors for the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association 2019-2020 and as Chair of Concord Hospital Medical Group Governance Council 2021-2023 overseeing 500+ providers across 3 hospital campuses in central NH.

He works closely with his wife Aimee Valeras PhD. LICSW to teach and promote Integrated Behavioral Health in all healthcare settings.  Together they founded and own Metaphora Consulting with the mission to promote organizational health and transformation. They enjoy hiking in NH and VT with their children Ayanna (14),  Alique (12), Acadia (9), Bernese Mountain Dog Atticus (5), and Shiloh Shepherd Adora (5 mo).
