
Alexander Blount, EdD is Professor of Clinical Psychology and Director of the Major Area of Study in Behavioral Health Integration and Population Health at Antioch University New England. He is also Professor of Family Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he founded the Center for Integrated Primary Care. Of his over 40-year career, he spent about half at UMass Medical School where he trained Family Medicine residents and many behavioral health clinicians in the skills and attitudes required for integrated primary care. He is a member of the National Integration Academy Council (http://integrationacademy.ahrq.gov). His books include Integrated Primary Care: The Future of Medical and Mental Health Collaboration, published by W. W. Norton.
