Project duration: Two days / events
Project goal: Provide a training to encourage and equip providers to develop Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs. Follow-up training to reinforce team-based communication and Behavioral Health provider competencies.
Two CFHA experts, a psychologists and a physician provided trainings to over 80 providers in the Philadelphia area to orient them to MAT. The trainings were very well received with providers reporting greater confidence in their MAT work or pursuing initiation of MAT programs. A subsequent training provided by CFHA helped reinforce habits of successful team communication and BHC proficiency in primary care settings.
